The Orange Veil / Paper Print

The Orange Veil is a vivid and emotionally resonant portrait honoring Día de los Muertos traditions. The subject’s face is painted in a skull-inspired design with intricate red, black, and white patterns. A bold red flower blooms at the center of the forehead, while deep shadows encircle the eyes, evoking mystery and remembrance. Crimson lips are accented with skeletal lines, symbolizing the delicate balance between life and death. Draped in a sheer orange-red lace veil, the figure radiates warmth, reverence, and quiet strength. This piece blends cultural symbolism with vibrant realism, inviting reflection and celebration.
